The Shiva Temple in Ghumarmund is a monument located in Chitrakot. The monument is 36kms from Jagdalpur and 0.5km from the Chitrakot falls. The temple is east facing and consists of Garbhagriha or sanctum on which big Shivalinga is in square Jaladhari. The images and the temple is believed to be constructed in the 11-12th century AD, during the reign of rulers of Chhindaka Nag dynasty. While visiting the Shiv Temple one can see the regional architecture in this temple.

Since, the temples are worship areas hence they are flooded with visitors and pilgrims all throughout the year. The temples are mostly the areas wherein people can find peace and dwell into spirituality. Hence, devotees are always welcomes to the temple premises.
